Ahead of the NBA Paris Game 2020, Louis Vuitton announced a multi-year project in partnership with the National Basketball Association to produce the league’s first travel case for the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Handcrafted in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop in Paris, the case marks the French fashion house’s first and only partnership with a North American sports league. The trunk is coated with the brand’s iconic emblem monogram canvas and fitted with traditional brass fixtures. The interior is suited with blue velvet fabric and includes two small drawers below the trophy stand. Along with the bespoke travel case for the future NBA champions, Louis Vuitton is set to announce an annual-limited edition capsule collection.
